One-on-One Support for Your Mental Health Journey
Individual therapy offers a confidential, supportive space where we work collaboratively on your specific concerns. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, processing past trauma, working through depression, or managing life transitions, I’m here to help you build the skills and insights you need to move forward.
My Therapeutic Approach
I provide a structured, goal-directed approach that respects your capacity and pacing. My work is grounded in:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):
Understanding the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and developing practical strategies to create change.
Narrative Therapy:
Exploring the stories you tell about yourself and your life, and rewriting narratives that no longer serve you.
Person-Centered Therapy:
Your goals, values, and lived experience guide our work together. You’re the expert on your life—I’m here to help you access your own wisdom.
Strength-Based Approach:
We focus on your inherent strengths and resilience, building on what’s already working rather than only addressing deficits.
What We’ll Work On Together
Sessions focus on emotional regulation, insight, and practical skills that support day-to-day functioning. We’ll clarify what’s driving your symptoms, strengthen safety and stabilization where needed, and work toward realistic, meaningful goals.
Common Focus Areas:

- Processing trauma and PTSD
- Working through depression and low mood
- Navigating grief and loss
- Developing anger management skills
- Addressing suicidal thoughts and self-harm
- Healing from religious trauma
- Managing ADHD or autism-related challenges
- Building social confidence and connection
- Improving self-esteem and self-worth
- Coping with stress and burnout
- Navigating identity and life transitions
What to Expect in Sessions
First Session (Intake):
We’ll discuss your history, current concerns, and goals. I’ll ask questions to understand what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll create an initial treatment plan.
Ongoing Sessions:
Each 50-minute session builds on the last. We’ll check in on your week, work on current challenges, practice new skills, and process emotions as they arise. I may assign brief homework between sessions to help you apply what we’re learning.
Approach:
I’m direct, collaborative, and warm. I won’t tell you what to do, but I will offer honest feedback and challenge you when it’s in your best interest. My goal is to help you become your own best therapist.
